My Dad was a caring , loving and funny man never one for a low moment even when he battled cancer that eventually ended his life he fought it to it's final moment with utter strength and dignoity
and sadly enough his life ended on 20th of february 2007

i still remember that terrible night When i got that awaiting phone call to say my dad was no longer in pain and i dropped everything to say a final goodbye to the most important man in my life

I have alot to thank him for my life being one of them

in the mid seventies my dad met the love of his life that being my mother he had a huge crush on her and then in 1988 they finally got together and my dad took on my brother as his own when my brother was only aged 3
in 1991 my dad and my mum lost a daughter as a still born and it only made them stronger in their relationship and as friend's
and then in 1992 they finally had the child they wanted together after many failed attempts and that child is me

In 1998 My Parents split up when i was 6 and even though they split they remained the best-of-friends , even having a fling or a few over the years
my dad then got into an unsteady relationship with a woman i loathed
and although he adored my brother even though he wasnt his biological son , my dad never seemed to have that kind of relationship with her children and in my dads own words he couldnt stand them !

my dad was such a caring and loving father to both me and my brother and we are grateful that we had him as a father
and being a father was the main priority to him throughout his adult life until the day he died

my father had such a great humor weather it be pranks he played on someone or just the funny person he was

His spirit and memory will live on forever

and i am living fact of that

my dad wasn't just my dad he was my best-friend and i will miss him dearly
